Pioneer Title AgencyImportant information from the ADRE that you should know if you are a licensed real estate professional in Arizona:

License Examination
Effective July 1, 2010, the Arizona Salesperson and Broker Licensing Exam for real estate, cemetery and membership campground licenses will be administered by Pearson VUE at test sites in Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, and Yuma.  The exact locations of these sites and testing times will be announced after June 25, 2010.  The current exam vendor, Prometric, will hold examinations through June 30, 2010.  As of June 22, 2010, Pearson VUE will start accepting examination registrations at 888.405.5776.  The Candidate Handbook is available online at www.pearsonvue.com/az/realestate.
Please be advised:

  • As of July 1, 2010, Pearson VUE will administer licensing tests which are scored on:
    • Real Estate Salesperson
      State Specific = 90 scored questions (+10 non-scored pretest questions)
      National = 80 scored questions (+ 5 non-scored pretest questions)
    • Real Estate Broker
      State Specific = 100 scored questions (10 non-scored pretest questions)
      National = 80 scored questions (+5 non-scored pretest questions)
  • From July 1, 2010 the National question bank will be from the Pearson VUE question bank.  The National outline is posted on Pearson VUE’s website, as well as www.azre.gov.
  • From July 1, 2010 until August 31, 2010, the AZ State Specific questions will be from the question bank that Prometrics has used in the past.
  • As of September 1, 2010, the AZ State Specific questions will be questions based on the new Real Estate Salesperson and Broker Course outlines, and will have been reviewed by “Subject Matter Experts” from the Arizona real estate industry.
  • Effective July 1, 2010, the Real Estate Salesperson exam will allow for a five hour seat time and the Real Estate Broker exam will allow for a five and half hour seat time.
